Caroline Keppel Johnston, D.C. earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995. Dr. Johnston then graduated Cum Laude from Texas Chiropractic College in 2001. Following graduation she worked as an Associate Doctor for a family practice in Houston Texas. Dr. Johnston later joined a Houston practice specializing in motor vehicle accidents and work related injuries where she assumed a role as a Clinic Director.
Dr. Johnston became a Graston Technique Provider in May of 2015. Since then she has dedicated her practice to the detection and treatment of soft tissue dysfunction using Graston Technique. Graston Technique uses specially designed stainless steal instruments to address scar tissue, fascial restrictions, and range of motion limitations.
In 2017 Dr. Caroline Johnston completed her Graston training and became Graston Certified. In 2018 she was awarded the title of Graston Technique Specialist, which is the highest level of certification available. She also achieved certification in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) in 2018. The SFMA is used to identify movement dysfunction and direct manual therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions.
Training to perform Percutaneous Therapy was completed by Dr. Caroline Johnston in 2020. Percutaneous Therapy uses very thin needles without any medication to treat pain and dysfunction caused by a wide range of musculoskeletal issues.
